NOVEMBER 1 READING…HEBREWS 13
We are to continue loving one another. And remember that you never know who the Holy Spirit may bring across your path each day. You might even be welcoming and ministering to a messenger from God. Pray for those daily who are suffering imprisonment and torture for the cause of Christ. Let your conduct be pure before God and others. We have the great and perfect promise from our Lord…He will never leave us or forsake us. How could anything be better than that?
We are called to remember and honor those who the Lord has put over us in the ministering of His Word. Knowing that Jesus does not change…He is immutable yesterday, today, and forever. Stay true to the correct doctrines. Our altar is not for everyone, but for those who meet Jesus at the last altar needed for mankind…Calvary. Jesus was sacrificed on that altar, so there is no longer a need for a sacrifice, or an altar. Our sacrificial offering to the Lord is a sacrifice of praise…let our mouth speak His truth and praise…and let us give Him thanks for who He is and all He does. Understand that those who minister over you in the Word are accountable to God for what they teach you. Pray for each other…pray for you teachers in the Word…finish the good work that God has called you to.
Please share your thoughts from today’s reading.
