JULY 2, 2025 ~ FROM A PASTOR'S HEART

JULY 2 DEVOTIONAL BIBLE READING: MATTHEW 5:13-16

We were put on this earth to make a difference. We are to be the salt and the light in this generation. As we are the people God has called us to be, we must remember that what is of utmost importance is eternity...but what we do now touches eternity. We are not just to check out and be hands off...but neither are we to ever think that the answers for mankind's needs are found this side of heaven. Jesus said we are to be salt and light in this world. Salt that makes a difference. Salt that has not lost its ability to impact all it touches. Light that drives back darkness. Light that exposes the truth in the midst of all that is false. We were saved and filled with the Holy Spirit for this purpose.

As Christians, we must always put our faith in God through His Son Jesus. No political system, nor politician, will ever possess the answers for this country or the world. That being true, we need to be a people who walk by the Spirit, making a difference by sharing the Gospel of truth. Think about it...the Gospel changed us...it can change this world, one person at a time!
