SEPTEMBER 27, 2025 ~ FROM A PASTOR'S HEART

SEPTEMBER 27 DEVOTIONAL BIBLE READING: 1 Corinthians 2:13-16

One of the wonderful attributes of God is His immutability... which means He does not change. The one true God is not an evolving creature...He is not developing...He is not learning... He is not becoming more God and a better God as time goes by. God is eternal! He is who has always been and tomorrow He will still be who He perfectly is. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever...that means we can count on Him to be who He is and to do what He says He will do.

God's immutability touches every aspect of His nature. He loves us the same all the time, perfectly and completely. His mercy is from everlasting to everlasting. His grace remains the same toward us throughout all eternity. His promise of salvation is guaranteed, without the possibility of retraction. Everything God is, He is eternally. Every word that God speaks is eternally true and without change. There is no variance with God. The Scripture says in Him, "...there is no shadow of turning." This lets us know that we can come before our Father and He will always be our Father who deals with us out of His eternal nature and attributes to do the best for us.
