OCTOBER 22, 2025 ~ FROM A PASTOR'S HEART

OCTOBER 22 DEVOTIONAL BIBLE READING: Romans 10:14-15

Acts 1:8 says, "You will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you and you shall be witnesses of Me..." So often we make witnessing what we do rather than what we are when it should be both. Our lives are to be so infused with the Holy Spirit that His power working through us transforms us into witnesses of Christ. There is an old saying that goes something like this..."Go into the world and be a witness for Christ to everyone you meet and if need be use words."

The transforming power of the Holy Spirit in our lives ought to be so evident that when people see Him in us they ask why are you so different? If we are walking in the power of God there is no way the world cannot know that Jesus lives in us. When they ask, that gives us the opportunity to share who changed us and what He will do for them also. Genuine biblical Christianity is not lived only on Sunday for a couple hours...it is lived 24/7, because it is who we are. When our lives match our profession of faith, then the world will be ready to listen. Live Christ...Share Christ!
