OCTOBER 15, 2025 ~ FROM A PASTOR'S HEART

OCTOBER 15 DEVOTIONAL BIBLE READING: Lamentations 3:22-31

Unending love, mercy, grace and compassion are what the Lord has for we who are His children. It is incredible to even think that God has a supply of these things for us that will never run out. The truth is, God does not have a supply in the sense that He goes to some reservoir and pulls these things out when He needs them....these are the very nature of who God is. He does not get these wonderful things from somewhere else, but they flow out of Him to us, because He is love...and mercy...and grace...and compassion! As long as God exist these are His continual gifts that He pours into our lives.

I am so grateful that God never runs out...because we have a limited supply with each other. So when our supply runs out, or even starts getting low, we pull back and withhold it from others. God's endless supply means He continually and always is pouring out Himself and His gifts to us enormously and abundantly. He does not portion it out for fear He might run short, He pours it out in a way that we cannot even comprehend it all. When we think we have nothing, God reminds us He has given and continues to give us everything He has. He is a God of great blessing...and as our Father He loves to pour out those blessings greatly and continually in the lives of His children. I encourage you to walk today in the knowledge that God loves you...He will always love you...and that His love, mercy, grace and compassion know no limits and know no end!
