MARCH 5 READING…NUMBERS 5-6 & PSALM 61
Today’s theme is about how seriously the Lord takes commitments and promises. To sin in unfaithfulness against the Lord required restitution. The Lord also takes the marriage vow very seriously…and there was even a test for the suspected unfaithfulness of a wife. The Lord established the Nazarite vow, and the requirements to keeping this vow. This vow could be for a lifetime or for a designated period of time. Some were even Nazarite’s from birth. The psalmist declares the glory of the Lord…that He is a shelter, and a Hightower, and the only One to be trusted. In the Lord we are able to keep our promises and commitments.
