JUNE 27, 2025 ~ FROM A PASTOR'S HEART

JUNE 27 DEVOTIONAL BIBLE READING:  ISAIAH 52:7-10

I have been in the waiting room of the hospital with many people waiting for a surgery to be complete and for the surgeon to come out and give good news. When that happens, you can see both the relief and joy on the loved ones waiting for results. Everybody likes to receive good news. We have been entrusted with great news. It may be that sometimes we forget how good the news of the gospel really is.

People are dying out there without Jesus, people we know and we need to be sharing with them the good news that they can know the forgiveness of their sin and have eternal life after this life. When we have the good news, we must share it. When we know the truth, we love that truth and we should want everyone to know that Jesus is the Son of God, that He died for our sins, that He rose from the grave...and that anyone who puts their faith in who He is and what He did, can know the forgiveness of sin and have everlasting life. That is great news and we who know it; we get the privilege of sharing it with everyone!
