JUNE 2 DEVOTIONAL BIBLE READING: ROMANS 8:28-39

In one of the classrooms in the church there hangs a picture of a tree...this is a rather large picture of a beautiful orange and yellow tree. I believe it is meant to represent the tree of life, though I'm not sure and I have no idea where it came from. This picture is unique, as it is actually made up of many puzzle pieces put together. This beautiful and complete picture reminds me of life and how God sees it. Only God sees the whole picture, while we get to see one or two pieces of the picture at the most. With only having a piece of the picture it is hard to tell what the whole picture is and when all the pieces are put together, only then do we see the whole. In life God always sees the whole...it is complete to Him. We live in the mystery of life...but one day all the pieces will be put together for us, then we will see it and understand.

Until then we need to trust the One who already sees the whole. Isn't it good to know He loves us! The love that He has for us can never, nor will it ever change. It is promised to us through His Son, Jesus. He tells us that there is nothing that can separate us from that love. Nothing on earth, nothing above or below the earth…nothing can separate us from the “love of God, in Christ Jesus!”
