JUNE 12 DEVOTIONAL BIBLE READING: MATTHEW 7:21-29

I talk with people all the time who have the mistaken idea that each person finds their own way to God and salvation. There is every religious expression under the sun telling people they can come to God anyway they desire. Even some evangelicals have bought into the lie that there is more than one way to salvation. People want us to believe that every religion is equally valid and that God will accept you as long as you sincerely believe in what you believe in. I have been called hateful, narrow minded, a bigot...because I would dare say that Jesus is the ONE AND ONLY WAY to God and salvation.

I must remind you that it is God who determines the way to Himself. It is God who decides what is required for salvation. It is God to whom the ransom for our sin is paid and He determines the amount of that ransom. Religion won't get you there. Being good won't get you there. Doing benevolent acts won't get you there. There are not many paths to God...there is only one way. Islam, Judaism, Buddhism, Mormonism, Progressivism and a hundred other "ism's" are not the way to God and salvation. Even going to an evangelical church and being baptized won't do it. Jesus, only Jesus is the way to the Father and to eternal salvation. He paid the ransom price and the Father accepted it. No other price could pay for our sin, no other price is acceptable. Jesus made it clear, He said, “I am the Way, the Truth and the Life; no one comes to the Father except by me" (John 14:6). Today don't neglect this great salvation. Don't reject this great Savior. If you have any questions, I would love to talk with you.
