DECEMBER 23 READING…ISAIAH 39-41 & REVELATION 13
*I mixed up yesterday’s & today’s Revelation reading.
Be careful about welcoming the enemy into your home. Your enemy has no good intentions for you, or for your home. Hezekiah welcomed the envoys from Babylon, but he even did more…he showed them all his riches, and his armory. He let the enemy know what he had, and also what he did not have. Some might say, well he was being hospitable…no, he was being careless, and he put his people’s safety in danger. The greatest enemy we have is Satan. Don’t let him in your home, your marriage, your workplace…never open the door of any part of your life to him. He has no good intentions. The Bible says he seeks who he can steal from, who he can kill, and who he can destroy. If you let him in, he won’t just destroy you, but everyone and everything you love. In Revelation 13, the Antichrist and the false prophet rise to the full extent of their power. They take power over the lives of mankind, and require worship. They take control of the global economy system, and make all people take a mark of loyalty to the Antichrist in order to buy, seek, or even live. This will be a time of great persecution to those who love the Lord, and worship Him only…many will be martyred at this time. Once again, I must warn all…get right with God through trusting in His Son Jesus as Lord and Savior now, while there is time.
Please share your thoughts.
