AUGUST 22 READING…EPHESIANS 1
Everything we are and everything we will ever accomplish as biblical Christians is because we are in Christ. The Lord didn’t save us then send us out on our own to do the best we can for Him. He lives and abides in us…and it is in Him that we find our identity. Paul tells us some wonderful things we have because we are in Christ. In Him…we are chosen. In Him…we are accepted. In Him…we have redemption. In Him…we are forgiven. In Him…we are made to abound. In Him…we have our inheritance. In Him…we are sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise. These are wonderful things we have in Christ. Now, we must pray for spiritual wisdom so that we will continue to walk, think, speak, love, and share as people who are in Him.
