AUGUST 12 DEVOTIONAL BIBLE READING:  1 PETER 4:7-11

Some people believe that the only grace of God they need is for salvation. The reality is that we need God's grace every day, everywhere and in every way! The thought of being without God's grace is unimaginable. We do need His saving grace and we need His continuing sustaining grace. His grace makes all things possible.

God's grace is never earned or deserved...it is freely given by our great God because of His wonderful love for us. It's hard to imagine why God would take all the time and care to do anything for us, especially considering how we all treat Him so often. Yet, His grace is so great that it literally is greater than all our sin, our poor attitudes, our apathy, our disobedience. Like the hymn writer has declared "Amazing Grace, How sweet the sound..." Enjoy God's grace in all your life this blessed day
