APRIL 21, 2025 ~ FROM A PASTOR'S HEART

APRIL 21 DEVOTIONAL BIBLE READING: PROVERBS 30:1-6

The first casualty of the church trying to fit into our post-Christian society is truth. It seems many are trying so hard to be relevant that they have left out God and His truth. If we compromise the truth, then we have nothing to share with the world. There is no such thing as man's truth versus God's truth. There is only truth and all real truth is God's truth. Man does not determine what is true, that was determined long before the first human was created. Genuine truth is eternal, it is unchanging and it is relevant for every generation.

We live in a world that wants people to believe that everyone can have their own truth, customized just for themselves. The world wants everyone to believe that every expression of "truth" is just as valid as any other. "Truth is relative" they say, and "there is no such thing as absolute truth." They reveal their ignorance by such statements, and place themselves and society in great danger. There is truth, it is absolute and it does not allow for multiple variations. This is the truth of God. This is THE TRUTH that will set you free!
