This is a great day to celebrate life. In 1972 the SCOTUS usurp the authority of God in their decision in Roe vs Wade…today the SCOTUS moved away from that horrific decision, and started things back in the right direction. Life is a gift from God, and should be cherished from the word to the tomb.

Romans Chapter 8 celebrates the wonderful life we have in Christ, because the Holy Spirit lives within us. Look with me at all the great promises we have as the children of God. There is no condemnation to we who are in Christ Jesus. This allows us to walk according to the Spirit and not the flesh. We could not live the life God called us to in the flesh, so now we are alive in the Spirit, living the life God intended. The leadership of the Holy Spirit in our lives affirms that we are the children of God. God is all about life…and we have that now, as we are adopted into His family. Not only are we His children, we are heirs with Jesus…all that the Father has is ours through Jesus.

This life will certainly have suffering…but the Holy Spirit reminds us that the suffering cannot compare to the eternal promise we have in Christ. The Holy Spirit reminds us that all things work together for our good, because we are the children of God. The Holy Spirit even prays for us when we don’t know what to pray. The Spirit knows us…and He knows what is best for us as the children of God. Then finally, the Holy Spirit confirms that there is nothing that can separate us from the love of God that is ours in Christ Jesus. Life in our flesh is a gift from God…life in the Spirit is a gift from is to be cherished for it is from God.
